Gregg has spent his entire career in the lumber industry, starting at age 12 unloading boxcars and working his way up to owning and leading major distribution companies. He is the founder of Sitka Forest Products USA, the U.S. subsidiary of Sitka Forest Products based in Montreal, Canada. He’s a recognized expert in risk management, distribution strategies, and inventory hedging.

A former NAWLA board chairman, Gregg is a sought-after speaker and a frequent contributor to industry publications. He also co-hosts The Lumber Word podcast, delivering market insights with a mix of expertise and humor. When he's not talking lumber, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Julie, and spending time with their growing family.
