Alain Boulet is a wood construction product and transport specialist, and has worked as the manager of the wood construction group at the Quebec Wood Export Bureau (QWEB) since 2012. He brings sales opportunities to his member companies and supports them in their commercial export activities. Before joining QWEB, Mr. Boulet founded and was the general manager of Demtec, a company specialized in the construction of modular and mobile homes. In 1990, after four years in business, a subsidiary was created, Demtec International, which produced panelized homes and multi-family buildings.

Consequently, he began developing an international sales network in 15 countries, including Japan, France, Germany, Iceland, Spain, China, United Kingdom and the Bahamas. After selling the company in 2005, he continued to work for Demtec International as international markets manager. Mr. Boulet holds a bachelor degree in business administration and a bachelor in mechanical engineering from Sherbrooke University.
